Black Bear Trapping

If you are a trapper, then you know that Maine is the very last state in which you can actually trap a black bear! After a few years of in-house trials, we have decided to offer this unique experience to our clients. Our method uses a tube and sleeve style cable trap just below the ground surface on one of our guaranteed active pre-baited sites. Our bear trapping adventures include 6 days of trapping, 7 days/nights of lodging, and 3 home cooked hearty meals per day. Trapping equipment, transportation to and from the bait sites, recovery, field care, and skinning of the bear are also included.
