Spring Turkey Hunting
Over the past 10 years, the Northern reaches of Maine’s Penobscot County has seen a significant increase in Eastern wild turkey populations. Due to the vast and often remote nature of this area, the opportunity to hunt relatively unpressured turkeys is very high. The combination of agricultural farm lands, abandoned orchards, and recently logged cuts provides perfect habitat for growing some big toms.
Beginning in the spring of 2025, we will be offering fully guided turkey hunts in this area. These three day hunts will be a one on one guide/client ratio. Our hunting package includes three nights of lodging, beginning the evening before your first day of hunting, ending the night before your last day of hunting. A hearty, home cooked meal with be served each evening, and a continental breakfast will be available each morning, along with a bag lunch for mid-day.
Pre-hunt scouting and locating will begin several days prior to your arrival, and the hunts will be custom tailored to each hunters individual needs.
If you have ever wanted to hunt Spring gobblers, on the fringe of their Northern ranges, give us a call to book your spot on this exciting new opportunity in the Maine woods!
